Early english settler site in north georgia.

Some really neat finds today.

Went metal detecting at an early English settler site(early 1800s) in north Georgia.

Horse bit
Beautiful stirrup
Hand forged chain and hook(found with hook in the chain)
Buckle

Need help identifying the top piece. It's long. Has a hole at the top.

Is it a really long file? If I zoom in I feel like I can almost see the pattern. Has a kind of file shape to the end too. I like that stirrup too, nice work!

Nice Saves. I really like the stirrup. Well Done.

Wow...that stirrup is a great find. Well done!

Congrats on all your recoveries! It sure has most of the characteristics of a file but i don't see the teeth of a file on the front. Their are specialty files with only teeth on one side maybe check the other side for teeth or flip it over and show us another picture!
