Got out for the first time in a couple months and made this very cool find today in an empty lot in the historic part of town in south Georgia. It's a "Hood & Tobey" silver knife with pattern and owner's name "Duncan" at the top. I have to do some more research on the family and street location to see if I can find the Duncans. I did some research on Hood & Tobey and found this: Advertised in the Albany Daily Knickerbocker newspaper (Albany NY), 8 Apr 1854, announcing the dissolution of HOOD & TOBEY - so that helps date it. Also cool since I lived not all that far from Albany for many years.

The first three photos are without polish and the last two are polished...(The makers mark on back is so tiny that I needed loop to see it, so no photo of it.)

cool find dude glad you got out. Good luck on researching the name. I got out last monday for the first time in about three months. Went to the stone house in the woods, buttons and a shield nickle.
