Early Navy and Artillery Buttons Dug

Got into Calabash Digger's site and dug these pre-Civil War buttons. Also got a couple of plain flat buttons and some other lead pieces.
We were hoping a Confederate button would show up but it didn't happen. The place is big and has been hunted pretty hard but I managed to squeeze out a few more and am very happy with these!

congrats ! I wish they hadn't piled all that dirt up on that site and with all the dig holes that were there it was a wonder anything was still there. The enfield I found has 57 stamped in it might be a confederate button there too.
