Nice Finds Don. You are on a good site. The first half dime I dug was in the tent lines at a local Gen. John Hunt Morgan CSA camp near my home. It was an 1853 also. Dman was not hunting with me then. He had coin hunted for over 30 years and dug some nice seated coins but a half dime had eluded him. About a year after we startted relic hunting together, we went to another Morgan camp about 45 miles from where I dug my 1853 half dime. Dman dug his first half dime there-also an 1853. Relic hunting is strange sometimes. Good luck, Quindy.
