I found this the other day in SE Alabama. I'm just now getting around to posting it. 2 7/8 by 2 3/4. Unfortunately it has slight base damage (appears to be ancient where they were knocking off the cortex).

2 7/8 by 2 3/4. Literally about as wide as it is long.

Super nice find! Having hunted game, I would assume that with rounded end, was likely used as a skinning knife. You really do not want to poke any extra holes with a more pointed tool while skinning a hide. You can see how they rounded the tip nicely. Sure is beauty!

A little but not extremely. It's more rare for me to find the examples like these without a little damage (especially a ear).
