It's such a beautiful river especially that part! I used to do a lot of camping just south of Granite. I loved sneaking down to the pools early or late in the day to try and get a big one. They are very smart fish. There sure are a lot more rafters then when I was there. I love the pictures and that drive up to Leadville! I am hoping we all get dumped on!!! It's very dry. Watch out for the newbies on the roads when it comes.

Beautiful scenery. Thanks.

Pretty time of the year along that area of the river.

The beauty of the last days of Fall. We are really getting dumped on by this new Winter storm. But is supposed to go through fast and warm back up by tomorrow.

Well let me tell y'all I went down there way early this morning before daylight with the intent of getting some pics of that Decker fire. There wasn't no flames lighting up the night sky, Salida wasn't all lit up like Denver, no aircraft in the air with their landing lights on, which is probably a good deal. You could see and smell a little smoke, that's about it. So I went back along the river and took some fair pics.

Beautiful photos! :occasion14:
