Ebay Listing Accountability Thread

Is saving a seller the same thing as following them?

No, following them gets you the email updates.
P.s I just got an offer for a part I listed 20 minutes ago. That last part lot was a SCORE!

Spent most of Wednesday & Thursday hitting estate pre-sales & thrift stores & have a fair amount of stuff to list. Sold another 5 items over the last few days, listed 3 BIN & created drafts for 10 auctions. Three church group sales this morning plus another estate sale.

Well...I had hoped to get to the junk sale today but ended up doing something else instead. But in the last hour I made two sales! Things are picking up! Let's keep the cash rolling!

Ended up selling four items to one guy so I ended two auctions and the profits are stacking up!
So far my $45.00 investment has netted $65 just scratched the surface and I still need to list the best stuff...

Hit 2 yardsales this morning and got some good stuff. First was a tackle box for $10 that had several old in it. One lure or the box itself should easily pay for it. Next was a tackle box full of sockets and extensions. Several snap on/craftsman. Gave $8 for it. Then I got a pocket watch for $5. It is a continental swiss made 17 jewel. I think it may be worth a ilittle bit, but I need to do some more research. I'll try to put up some pics sometime. I've got listing to do as well and an auction tomorrow. Should be a busy weekend.

I have a Continental watch that I bought while I was in Geneva, Switzerland. My one goal while I was there was to buy a Swiss watch. An old automatic pocketwatch could bring some money to a collector. Depends on the age and case metal. Some sell for $50 and some sell for $500.

Beach kid, I just sent you a best offer.

Thanks!!

I appreciate the info on the pocket watch. I sold it to my dad though for the $5 I gave for it. He is a collector and really liked it, so I just gave it to him for $5. Any more info is appreciated. I have found some online, but none are as fancy as that one.

Meanwhile at the auction today I scored. I got a lot of electronic stuff that will sell or scrap one, and then I also got some other things. A box of polly pocket stuff that will sell, as well as some random tools etc. One box had a pair of sunglasses in it. I went over and picked up them just for the heck of it, and saw an O on the outside and made in usa on the inside. I picked up a baseball that was in there and did a good job of playing off what I found like it was nothing. I won the box for $5, and the Oakleys go for about $65 or so. That easily paid for everything I got today, so I was proud. However, I am worn out. 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM was a long time to stand. :laughing7:

That's a long day for sure! At least you had fun. I just listed four different items and two of those will bring about $100 each so I'm well into the profit zone. Now I need to box some items up! But my printer just ran out of ink so can't print any labels until tomorrow. Lol

Ok, listed this last night at $.99 with a reserve. It is one of the parts I got the other day. It currently is at $31.00 for it. With a three day auction. I'm thinking it will do better as auction than bin. If I can make enough out of these parts I think I'll buy that winch bumper I want for my wrangler. That way it won't cost me a dime! Lol

That's how I like to buy things DieselRam. :laughing7: I've got a lot of listing to do.

Up to 37 sales for the month... 349 for the year!
Listed 7 or 8 new items this weekend. Did a little FBA sourcing, but didn't get to do any eBay sourcing except for my first yardsale of the season. Got some nice vintage jewelry (gold filled, sterling, lapis luzi, and some random items), 10 or so RCA videodisks (never seen them before, guess I'm showing my age (28) haha) two real nice ash trays. Automotive themed ones. and a few other things to sell or use... all for $6.00.

Ohhh yeh!!
That's the reason I'm stripping dash/interior parts at my friends junkyard. I get 50%. But the parts are his. I will take that deal!!
I have access to a small junkyard...so anyone needs something, just let me know.

Ok, that auction sold bin last night at $125. So from my $45.00 investment I'm currently at $230 and a bunch more to go!

Any dodge diesel pickups in the yard? I'm looking for a good injection pump for a 12 valve cummins.

Good job DieselRam! I wish I would sell something. :laughing7:

Listed 12 sold 7 in auction ending. I have a person that open the case because the item was delivered to their house but they're trying to pull a fast one saying it was delivered to Rhode Island in North River Island even though it shows it was delivered to the same ZIP Code and I told her if it was delivered to the wrong address it would show that it was delivered to a different ZIP Code there's no such thing as the same exact address in the same exact exact ZIP Code that's not her house. Nice try! Miss feedback of 2! So I'm not worried about that one and shows delivered to her address so I'm safe. She can continue this as far she would like but I know I will not have to refund her.

It seems to go in spurts. Feast or famine! Your turn is coming!
