Yesterday was the end of deer season here in central Virginia, which means today is the start of relic season.
Tried a spot today that has been hunted by many, many people over the years, although I have never been in before.
Literally the 3rd hole I dug a LA7 coat button! One of my bucket list relics I thought I would never find. Unfortunately, the only other period items found were a flat button and leather rivets. I would say that this is a great way to start the year, but historically I only dig one Confederate button a year, maybe I should just give up till next year? LOL.
