I'd say a $200 or so profit for less than a month is pretty good!

Good results, especially considering you're less than a month in. Most of us aren't brave enough to do quarters.

Well, halves are pretty dry around here at the moment, waiting on some I ordered. My personal bank has Brinks Boxes of quarters, so I buy one, search it ( plastic wrapped ) pull out what I want, replace whatever I take out and exchange it for another unopened box. Great thing is, they dont mind.

The one bank that can get me weekly halves also uses Brinks, so I can take a box of quarters, search them, bring them back and exchange for an unopened box, they also dont mind.

Every other bank gets String rolls so I am basically assed out. Luckly for me, every bank in town except one has coin counters so I dont have to reroll.

The reason why my Quarter numbers are low is I have been picking up a lot of CWR's and sadly, none have produced for me. That is also why my Dimes average is low as well. Out of the 764 rolls of dimes, 85 were CWR's and out of the 296 rolls of Quarters, 41 were CWR's. I am sure my numbers would have been better on each if they were not. Perhaps I will log each number separately next year and see exactly how I do ON a side note, CWR's produced handsomely for me when it came to halves. One roll having 7 and another 14, 40% halves in it. I know my time will come with dimes and quarters so I continue to ask for CWR's every time I go in. I keep an extra $60 on me specifically for those just in case.

Since I have only 400 to with, my operation mode right now is going to be $250 in dimes and $150 in quarters from each bank in town, each day. or $1000 a day in dimes and $600 a day in quarters minimum. Weekends I will be buying $400 worth of nickels to search. Lucky for me, I have one bank that deals with lots of businesses in town so they deal with tons of coin so me dumping coin several times a day is not so much of an issue. Also, the coin machine they use is right next the teller area and I can help them lift the larger bags of coins into the tray so they dont have to do it.

Yeah, its not bad at all considering I was playing with only $100 for the start of the month and moved up to $180 this week.

As for Profit, I dont sell the coins, they all go into my safe and are going to be my 401k. They will not be sold for any reason except to aid in my retirement. If I do sell a coin, it will be because its value is worth more than melt and I will take the profit from that to put more money into CRH or buying rounds. Not a penny of my silver will go into anything but more silver.

Well it seems as though you more than doubled your money in less than a month (probably much better than that depending on how you look at it). And better yet you are getting your money out of paper and into hard assets (real money) and keeping it for the long term (retirement) - as am I.

Sure as hell beats being under a race car 2-4 hours a day and most weekends when not racing or tuning or upgrading. I sold my last hobby to pay off truck, car, credit cards, lines of credit and medical bills and get myself as free from debt as possible.

I did spend my first 2 months buying silver at or below spot and then found this and am doing this heh.
