EF 1883 IH... Two days, 6 "firsts" for son and I !

We've been busy and very lucky lately. The 1800s coins were found today at an old park that recently mowed an old area for the first time in well over a decade. The razor stubble out there was really nasty.

The 1940s site was a 5-house demo on property bought by the city and razed two days ago. We stumbled on that by sheer luck.

Dad (White's MXT)
First 1800's coin and first seated dime - 1875
First Indian Head - 1883 (a real sweety )

Son (Garrett Ace 250)
First silver 1944 Merc
First Indian Head and first 1800's coin - 1899

Thanks for looking... Gadget

Real nice finds. I like the seated liberty dime. Is there a mint mark on the back?

Thanks all! I think we're headed back to the spot where the IH and seated came from tomorrow. It's about 2 hours from home, so we haven't had the chance to return since that great hunt.

Y'all have a good weekend!!
