Electrolysis Of St. Christophers Visor Clip

I found some information on "Electrolysis - How To", on a Blog Page by Tytherelichunter.
I Have a St. Christopher's Visor Clip (without the clip part) that I found in my front yard back in April 2009. It was a little rusty so I decided to try Tytherelichunters Instructions on Electrolysis to clean it up a little. As the following Pictures will show A Home Made Device and Being Extremely Careful does make it so that the rust comes off of Metal Items.

The only thing I Changed was the size of the Container - I used a Half Gallon Container and (2) Teaspoons of Baking Soda, because my item to clean was small in size.
I am extremely happy with this process, but If you try to do it --Be Extremely Careful and Unplug the unit before touching anything - In Other Words Follow Tytherelichunters Instructions to a tee.

that looks like about a 5v DC transformer..

Does it make any noise?

And I might suggest plugging that into a surger protector power strip thingy for safety.

Hey Rando, Thanks for the reply. The Black Thingy is an Audiovox Cell Phone Charger - Label On It Says Output 5.0V - 1.0A. It is not Humming or Even Getting Warm To the Touch. Everything Appears OK with the Unit.
