Ellis Island~

I've been doing some genealogy and some relatives come over from abroad and went into Ellis Island. Started me thinking about how many different coins must have been dropped there! Imagine that..........
Wonder if the island is allowed to be detected?

I think you might have a better chance at getting permission to hunt Yellowstone Park. It is probably under the NPS . Frank...

No doubt filled with foreign coins. San Francisco was also a port of immigration, and we definately notice a lot of foreign coins at any green-belt area in the vicinity of where the immigrants would have been making -their-ways into the city. Ie.: parks nearer the water-front where the port was, etc....

I think not, but if you were to visit, you'd be detected... It is a National Monument.
