Anyone know the history on this kind of tag? Found on old farm site that is just a grove of trees. Buildings been gone 40 years.
Top line abbreviated is: Minneapolis & St. Paul Railway

Also found an old pocket watch at same site.Ingraham1.JPGIngrahm2.JPG
Found 2 Indianhead cents from the 1890's at this location last year(2012). Located in Renville County, MN.

I have no idea what it may be.. But either way it's a really neat find.. Congrats.

The tag actually is the Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway. It was the early years of the Milwaukee Road that stretched across Minnesota thru South Dakota and west. The railroad was about a mile from the farm it was found on. Emigrant class was the cheapest class with the least frills on the railroad. There was 1st Class, 2nd Class and then Emigrant Class.
