End of this year’s Detecting Season, I start High school tomorrow…

Wow, this summer flew by, It’s crazy. sadly high school is starting tomorrow. Do you guys have any advice for high school?

Also this marks the end of this year’s detecting season for me. Unfortunately for me this means I will be able to get out rarely due to weekday school and weekend sports. I might post some season totals later.

Do good in school and dont let anyone get in ur way on what u want to do! Ask for help if u need a hand on something! Worry about getting good grades, ur doing this for urself!! Metal detecting can wait, can always draw a plan on where u want to to detect next year! Plenty of time to do that. Keep ur head up high and help others too! Brian

Good luck in HS. Enjoy the next 4 years as they go buy quick and then you're an adult.

Big things will be coming like your 1st car, 1st job..etc.

If you have friends that detect perhaps start a club.

I didn't have a lot of friends in school because I wasn't into sports or other school activities. A lot of my class mates actually made fun of me and considered me a 'nerd' or a 'dork' or whatever because I was into metal detecting and coin collecting. But long after graduating and growing up, who do you think they thought of and called on when they lost a ring or their keys or wanted to know what an old coin was worth?
