ended up detecting a garage sale

hello all

did a little detecting yesterday in a spot that usually is productive. no such luck however on the way home i hit a garage sale. found a box with some foreign coins. I asked how much and was told 1 american dollar. most of the coins are pre 1960. the oldest being italian 10 centisamos. a couple of silver canadian dimes from the 50s a 1937 canadien 25c, a penny from new foundland dated 1940 and 61 swedish 10 ore coins from 1937/38. I also found a 1942 french franc made from aluminum which i could not find in the world coin guide. of course if i noticed the garage sale on the way in, it may have saved me from 2 hours of pull tabs
