Engraved Double Eagle

Dug this last weekend, it's only 1 inch tall and long, 1/2 wide. Has a eagle on both sides, engraved on the bottom. No markings on it at all. What's it?

Can anything slip in between the two eagles. Like a fancy paper clip?

Looks like a VERY COOL personal seal

except the initials should be in mirror image

The wings are seperated but it's joined together at the tip of the eagle's head so you can't get anything in there. The spread between the wings in only 1/4 inch.
