Since the mosquitoes are still savage right now Dan (Danimal) and I hooked up and did the good old “grass field” hunt. Shorts and a t-shirt, sunny, 75 degrees and a nice breeze. Shoot, finding anything was just a bonus. ;D

The first site we went to we have hunted a lot but we each managed to find some silver, clad and wheats. I found a silver Canadian dime and a Silver Quarter that was very deep.

The second site we checked out we only stayed about 30 minutes. It was our first time at this site(park) and we didn’t find a single wheat penny. So we headed off to finish the day at a third site.

At the third site one of the first signals I dug was a Silver Kennedy Half. That was a very pleasant surprise. ;D It is my first and only Silver Kennedy Half. Also dug a silver pendant and a good luck token.

Bob,
This isn't golf we're doing here. ;D
Congrats on the silver and half.
Is that OJ's knife? :o
Congrats,
MM

Excellent finds Bob and great pics
Three silvers in one day is tops and no mosquitoes makes it even better.

Bob which detector are you using now...I believe you were the one who told me to run the pag at 4 on dfx...it did help my silver finds...

Gregg,
I am using the Minelab. I haven't used the DFX in a while now. I prefer to use the Minelab if the targets are deep.

LOL. :D Golf sounds good even though I am not a golfer. I did find 5 golf balls at the third site. ;D The knife was not actually found in the hood. I found it in the "better" side of town where I live. I would not have normally found it but there were so few targets that I had to dig an iron signal to keep from going bonkers.

What a great day, WTG

Good stuff. I can't seem to find any silver quarters . Some dimes but thats about it. They have to be out there. :)

Nice! Love the quarter and half.

Nice finds Mirage! It sounds like you guys had a picture perfect day for detecting.

You guys always seem to clean house.

That was a good hunt Bob. Only another MDer understands the enjoyment you talk about from the hunt. I just like to be outdoors and to contemplate the history of my finds. Keep on digging!

Well fellow Tesoro lover...if you remove everything silver in the pictures and that cool knife you'd have about my every day digs.

Just keep swingin that Tesoro ;D

You guys are doing so well up there in Cleveland! I'm originally from Cleveland Heights and have been detecting a few times up there. Lots of good old areas for you, for sure. I always managed to get some silver! Nice finds, congrats!
