Since the mosquitoes are still savage right now Dan (Danimal) and I hooked up and did the good old “grass field” hunt. Shorts and a t-shirt, sunny, 75 degrees and a nice breeze. Shoot, finding anything was just a bonus. ;D

The first site we went to we have hunted a lot but we each managed to find some silver, clad and wheats. I found a silver Canadian dime and a Silver Quarter that was very deep.

The second site we checked out we only stayed about 30 minutes. It was our first time at this site(park) and we didn’t find a single wheat penny. So we headed off to finish the day at a third site.

At the third site one of the first signals I dug was a Silver Kennedy Half. That was a very pleasant surprise. ;D It is my first and only Silver Kennedy Half. Also dug a silver pendant and a good luck token.

that ring you found looks like a ring they use to give to club members at the old horseshoe club casino in carson city, i cant really tell from the picture but i think thats what it is. or i could be wrong

Those finds Kick A!!!!!!! Love the Kennedy!

WTG :o

Hey Bob...I flat forgot that we hunted that other park. Between the swarming no-seeum mosquitos and the trash everywhere (on top of the lack of any older coins) pretty much crosses that one off the list.
There's another old park off Kinsman I have been looking at. Bad neighborhood but OLD...surrounded by huge old homes.
great pics as always!

Great finds, Mirage!!

Love to see silver coming out of well hunted places. A lot of my silver has been coming out of heavily hunted turf this year.
Congrats on your Kennedy Half also. I can't remember the last time I dug a silver Kennedy out of the ground.

Hey, good job, Bob! You and Big Dan cleaned house on Saturdee. I am glad to see you dudes getting back out. You have to show those insect things that you are a tough dude...get back to that Stagstop! ;) :D

Thanks Captn. Danimal has to convince me many times to revisit these places. I always give up on places too soon. ::)

No sir. It's all about the enjoyment. You can make a great find but if you have to go though misery to get it - to me it's not worth it. When you get a little older you will understand these things.... ;) ;D ;D

Good stuff, Bob! I've never found a Kennedy half of any sort. Enjoy the game this evening!

Oh, come on, Big Bob, I will slave through thickets and spida webs for some coppa coins. I think PACO would, too, and he is 43. But, I am not always tough....when I am around Stacia, I act like a "softy." I say stuff like this, "Awwww, baby dearest, you want a smoochie from Kirky? Muffin, you want a muffin? If so, I can make some for us." :D

Congrats on a great hunt with a nice variety of finds. Krik...you are freakin hilarious. ;D

Nice finds Bob! As I was looking at the pics I thought the Canadian dime was your first, then I saw the 1969 Kennedy Half and had to laugh! I found one last week here in Germany, also a "D" mint mark, I was thrilled. Nice post and HH, Mike

Sweet Bob. Looks like a good time. Won't be long and you guy can hit the Burg again.

Ken

Looks like a productive day :)

Nice going Bob, I dug my first silver Kennedy a few weeks ago also, but it was a '64.

Be careful out there,
Nat

Paco looks good for 43...must be all the coppas you guys are finding! :)

Bob which detector are you using now...I believe you were the one who told me to run the pag at 4 on dfx...it did help my silver finds...

Nice pile -o- treasure, Bob!

The Kennedy Half and other silver coins look great. Sounds like a fun hunt!

Congrats!
