I dug this enlistedman’s Leech & Rigdon Confederate spur beside a pretty creek near Shelbyville at a Confederate bivouac in the woods. It felt like I cleared a half-acre of briar patches by the end of the day. The Equinox 600 picked it out of a bed of nails at 2 inches, and I almost don’t dig it because the signal was so scratchy. Also pictured is a sash buckle and a piece of lead with Nashville stamped on it, dug the same day in the same camp.
