Hey hey diggers !
Here we are in the fall season of digging up Dirtyville.
Got out with a great group of guys looking for treasures on an early site that produced many coins, buttons, and relics dating back to the 1780s/90s.
Last trip we saw a different Rev War officers button from the Kings American 4th regiment come out so we went looking for more of them but none were found.
However, a got a good looking button that wasnt on our radar and turns out is much more desirable.

A lovely 84th regiment officers button!
The Highland Emigrants were a huge part of Rev War for the British side and their records reflect it well.

These seasoned fighters have lots written about them and rightly so..
I'm proud to have such a piece of history!

Finds like that are what we dream of- just think about who was wearing that, how it came to be lost and so on- fantastic find!!

This is one Fantastic Save of a Great looking Historical button. And to know some History on this particular button makes it even more valuable and personal. 🏆
