I made these coil tab reinforcement pieces from eighth inch plexiglass. They are notched, shaped and drilled and fit next to the tab. They are glued in place with JB weld. The extra thickness should strengthen the original tabs and stop them from breaking. Minelab should copy them and put them on their coils of this design to fix their problem. The picture shows the replacement coil they sent me that now has the added reinforcement tabs.
