Estate sale bottles

[gleaner1]

Picked these up today at an estate sale, 4 pieces, paid $12.00.

nice finds. is the top one an ink bottle?

[gleaner1]

mamabear, yes it is, these cone inks come in a wide array of colors, but they are getting harder to find. Check out Harry's "Who collects ink bottles?" thread. curbdiggercarl posted a killer grass green specimen similar to mine, and by pure luck I find one at a sale today. The only cone inks I've dug were aqua, and one dark amber piece shown in Harry's thread.

Cool bottles. The ink is awesome.

That ink rules fer sure.

I'd say that was 12.00 well spent.
