Picked this up for $8 at an estate sale. I doubt any of it is actually gold but the coin is worth $26.12 in silver!

I do believe it's real. Although theres always the possibility its fake. From what I can tell these were sold from the 1960's to 1980's. Silver was not nearly as valuable back and it's not a rare coin. There would have been not much of an ncentive to fake.
