When I made my chest, harness. I have two buckles that set over the controls made of steel. You think this will interfere with signals that I would get. Also there is a black ring right around the end of the controls on the headset side and keep sliding off. Is this the way supposed to be. I put tape on it to keep it from coming off. Also just wonder if one were to disconnect the headset from the end of the control for traveling purposes. Is this a no no.

The steel buckels won't affect the controls as they are away from the coil.

The black ring can be secured with some silicone grease to give it more grip.

DO NOT DISCONNECT THE HEADPHONES FOR TRAVEL. The phones are hardwired and not made to be disconnected. It is a "no no."
