Excellent "Snow Copper" OMWBTTC

The snow has been thick by me, but I was hoping there was a bit of a thaw after 2 days of "warm weather" after work. It's better, but still 2-4" deep. But alas, I'm a bit of 6's and 7's so I went for a snow hunt. I dropped the Deus to an unusual setting for me - 8KHz.

I managed a few buttons and a bunch of iron including a pony shoe, but nothing crazy. Just as I was about to sign off on the Deus, I get a signal under a thorn bush.

I had some fun with cleanup after my buddy CarolinaTom requested a Gif;)

I love how she came out of the ground, if only..........

Sweet work buddy, congrats!

...you liberty cap half cent looked as good? Yep, but no matter how that one was cleaned, the farm fields always take their toll.

Beautiful LC! Congratulations on your finds. Hardcore in the snow!

Thanks for the .gif Scrappy! They make me smile.

Hey, do you know why there are so many women archeologists? JK, I'll show myself out now...

Best of luck to you sir!

Dang scrapdog, I wanna see you get out and not dig something good. I usually wouldn't wish that on someone but you're the exception.

Nice LC, snow is pretty thick here in CNY as well, hoping this upcoming weekend melts enough of it to get some detecting in. In need of a "Steve weekend" myself (my name as well :occasion14:)

Nice buttons and great looking LC, congratulations!

Neither rain, nor snow, nor bramble will keep you away from the relics. Great job!

Just frozen ground Glenn. And work. And the family;)

Thanks for looking bud

I'm sending you all my toasted coppers so you can work your magic on them.

Jesus Joey! Tell me how you really feel bro. Lol.

I guess it's still better than wishing I dig a land mine.

Go for it. No matter the outcome, it's still better than sitting on ones arse not hunting. Thx for looking

Heeeeeeyyyyyy! What's up bud! I'm glad you finally joined Tnet. Welcome, and I wish you the absolute best of luck. I heard you can't make it this spring? That's too bad.

Congrats! Must have felt nice to get out even in the snow. Especially to pull in a LC. Great find in a tough condition!

A button would have made me happy on a hunt in these conditions. Actually, any hunt this time of year is a bonus in my book. Thanks for looking.
