Explorer se coil disconected while detecting

I bought it used i read on the board not to have the detector on with the coil unplugged can't fine it anymore.
But i had no idea what happend i was detecting & it all went silent did i damage anything?
Yes i plugged it back in seems fine but i am new with it so i do not know if it is 100%

Did you?
Did you plug it back i and keep on detecting?
If it worked then I doubt you damaged anything.

When I was on the phone with Minelab trying to diagnose a problem with my Explorer SE they had me run it without the coil connected. If they said to run it that way then you would think that you should not have any damage resulting. I think you should be OK.
