Ok It's been snowy and cold here in NJ and I can't get out back to make a test garden for my new Xs. I am having an issue with it. I have the stock coil on it now and when I first turn the machine on it goes through the startup screen and I first hear the threshold I can wave a large cent in from of it for a good 15-20 seconds before it "wakes up" and starts making non ferrous beeps instead of a dead null. I am air testing it in my computer room. Its almost like it has to warm up before it is ready to go. This happens on Auto and Manual sens. Is this common? After the initial 20 seconds or so the nulling turns to a nice high to the right sound. I just want to make sure it doesn't start nulling while im out and not know it.

My question is how can you tell the diff between Iron and an almost coin signal. Some of those horseshoes rang real high. but stayed pretty dead center and UP.
