Couple days ago I posted this: http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/today-s-finds/636580-25-mph-eyeball.html

Today I took our little old dog out for a potty break. He's 16. He's deaf, losing his eyesight and can walk, though slowly and with a very wobbly gait. So I like to carry him out to the place by our business I like him to use, then gently set him down and release him slowly and gently to be sure he has achieved some sort of balance before he begins his little sniff-around for a spot to pee. 058.webp

So imagine my surprise. Got him stabilized and had just let my hands lift from his side when I spotted this.

I have a pretty good idea where the ring fell. It's a protected spot so I just may be able to find the stone too. We'll see.

Happy Eyeball Huntin' Week!

That ring is nice, but your 16 year old furry friend is your real treasure!

Couldn't agree more! He's been an incredible little dog. More stories than I can share here.

Wish I had all the pictures we've taken of him resting with his little chin on something. Would make a great picture book. I would title it "A Place For My Chin." Anything worked as long as it was at just the right height; bricks, rocks, sticks, wrought iron, flowers, logs, a foot, or a shoe-with or without the foot.....anything!

Surprise finds are the best ones!!

Nice find and friend. I feel like your friend most days.

I agree with CalReg. The eyeball find is nice, but you can't beat a great companion. We had a Pomeranian that made it to 17 before we had to have her put down. She was our oldest living dog, although the Golden Retriever we have now may challenge that mark. Keep taking care of your little friend. They do appreciate it.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Great little hunting buddy! :headbang:
