Nice, I bet that was a monster when it was complete.

Should be more out there

Nice eyeball find... the rest of the stuff looks good too between the flat buttons and round balls considering your area is that Revolutionary War stuff?

No Rev war near here - heavy indian/colonial area though

I used to live in Vermont there was a revolutionary war battle fought in Hubbardton.. They used that river.. Nice finds either way

Nice bonus while metal detecting. Found a few myself while MDing.

I have never seen an old 4 leaf clover like that. I bet that is pretty uncommon?

4H clover - newer find in the mix - its sterling - so included it as a keeper

Northfield Ma. on Ct river - no rev war there - plenty of early indian action though

Don't know much about that area during the revolution, but I did find this Northfield, Massachusetts -- 1879 History -- Revolutionary Reminiscences. AND I spent the night at Holiday Inn Express.. :) Those are very cool relics and artifacts. I have property in the Granville area (roughly southwest of you). Know anything about that area? PM if nec. Yakker
hunted out there as a kid - when I was like 14-16
had to rely on others to get there - wish I could have hit there more back then - it was a gold mine
found my first 1812 button out there - as well as some real nice coins
have a friend that did well knocking on doors in the 80s-early 90s
he got 3 GW buttons in one yard
so if your not already - think about knocking on doors at some of the older houses
