The reason I ask is on the internet, it looks like when you hit the pinpoint button that you would hit the knobs next to it because it is so small. I am getting close to buying this and this is my only hesitation. I'd go to a shop and see for myself if it wasn't 1.5hrs away and I didn't have 3 kids. :laughing9:

Thanks!

*UPDATE* I just got the machine, and yes there is plenty of room :)

i took my new f5 out today for my 1st hunt,i just got it yesterday.you will just have to see foryourself but i had no problems with it.

i found a silver rose and a merc, and a couple of other things but no canslaw and i had a blast hear in kansas, the temp was in the low

60s and all the snow is gone, perfect.it is easy to master in just a few hours.and with a bit of practice it is easy to pinpoint your targets.

i have no regrets so far.i had the gain and the thresh runing at max most of the time, and i love the 3 tones.if you get a high tone but it

wont pinpoint then it probably is junk, but i doug a few to see and they were big junk items.the ground sat numbers are a good thing to be

able to see and adjust at any time with a bit of tweeking on the knob.and the confidence display is a great tool also.

happy hunting.

Most times I don't even bother with the button, the F5 retunes fast enough to x the target and is spot on either method.

I'm really trying to decide on this or the Teknetics Omega. Decisions decisions!

Im a Fisher F 5 guy, did you make your decision yet!!!
