Fair asking price for a used Tesoro Tiger Shark

Hello everyone,

Its been a few years since Ive visited on here. In 2008 I removed the Batteries and disassembled my Tiger Shark and put it back in its original Box and stuffed it away right before a job related move. Due to having 2 children and my Job hours, I have had no time to get out and find all the buried treasure here!

I would like to sell it and wondering what you all think a fair asking price would be. I bought it in early 2006 *corrected*.. and it wasnt cheap! It has normal wear and tear..coil a bit scuffed..etc

This is not a for sale ad. I do not want to ship or deal with any internet payment schemes! Just asking what a fair price I should ask for a local sale. Thanks in advance!!

I remember seeing some selling in the $400 - $450 range.

Since this Tiger Shark is out of production right now it is much in demand and I expect it to fetch near $600-800.00 dollars now even for a use one. I have one and wouldn't let it go for any price.

It should sell no problem. I just bought a used one with a recent checkup from Tesoro. It had new phones, coil, seals, belt for hip mount and came with a bag for $375 shipped. Haven't had chance to try it out in the water yet but works great on land. I have seen a couple people looking for one. Let me know when you decide on a price and I might steer someone your way.

I would think that you should easily get $500 for it, put it on Ebay with a reserve price and sit and watch the bidding go up and up. A lot of people are looking to buy one of them.

According to Tesoro's website, the Tiger and Sand Sharks will be back in production and available in April. They will have hard wired coils; either the 8" or 10.5" will be your option. It seems to me that a good condition TS with optional coils just went up in resale value.
