Hi all,
Well this year has givin us alot of clad and jewelry but not alot of older coins.Maybe the second half of the year will reverse our fortunes.2 days ago we found 4 wheats last night I found 5 more dating back to 1917 and 1920 and today got permission from the groundskeeper to hunt the locked up area of the animal barn and again was not disappointed.Although only found 16 total,1 was a 1920 mercury dime and 1 was a 1962d Quarter.Definitely worth the time. Now for the OOPS dept.Don't let wheat pennies soak in silver cleaner! ;D I forgot about them till this morning and they were gooey! My bad!Forgot to mention that one of the pennies was a 1942 canadian.

Nice finds, Bigrig! Although it looks like Washington took one on the chin, sounds like you're starting the 2nd half of the year out right. Keep it up. 8)
