I can just hear it now from my friends and family. "Why are you not finding caches's like this ?" They probably never even picked up a detector before this. Talk about an eyeball find. Geeze !!

They were stored chronologically over time so it's more likely a life savings the. A Robbery either way wow just wow what a dream come true.

(1.427) gold coins dated between 1847 thru 1894 * (a 47 year span) basically some rich old miser's life time of savings most likely (if they are 10 to 20 dollar gold pieces * that's between 14,270 and 28,540 dollars face value in 1894 "real" money --that's a lot of money in those days --highly possible it stashed during the 1933 "gold call" --when rich folks did not want to have to trade in gold for silver notes or silver coins..and was never recovered by the miser who buried it ..sudden death or death in the middle if the night or the great Spanish flu outbreak of 1917* want to bet there is 73 more coins floating around for a neat 1,500 coin stash? if this is just eyeball what can a detector find there?
