Fall Catch Up Post

[Iron Patch]

I'm having a pretty slim year so far for quality finds but not do to the lack of trying as I'm digging plenty, just not the right one. For someone who has always counted on buttons to ensure a good year, when that doesn't happen it's tough to pull it out... did it last year but tougher this one. That said, I dug a few cool coins so far this Fall to ease my pain. Still have hope to get the coil over a great button for the year and won't give up until the freeze is here.


Seated dime, Artillery button, couple RPs (one from a mid. Oct. road trip, one dug yesterday), African Head CT, Spanish Real, and Half Real silver cob, 1752 Halfpenny.

Well hey, if its not from lack of trying then there ya go, thats alll you can do. Only thing you can really do is experiment with different locations and hope to run into a honey hole.

My slim finds have been for a lack of trying, though I did find a few sensational [to me] items.
