Got permission to hunt a 1930's abandoned house recently. The dirt wasn't producing much other than a broken auger bit so we explored the property and found a dump. Found a mannequin head, bowling ball, vintage stainless fire extinguisher and the 'whats-it' pictured below. Can anyone shed some light on this item? I would like to know what it is before I pitch it.

Looks like it has a tow hitch , as in being pulled
thinking seeder IMO
need more angles of this to understand the mechanical workings
Any holes in the cauldron?

How big is that item? Looks too small to be a seed speader. I agree we need more pics of a few different angles.
