favorite find of the year Althogh not sure what it is "nurcia pacis"

Hunted an old spot today and got the usual flat buttons and one pewter one. Found this one over a foot deep with my minelab. it was totally encrusted and did not realize all the detail into the piece. I believe to be a stamp of sorts with a bird and some words that not sure what they are. Looked on line and could not find anything after flipping the image "nurcia pacis". the detail on the sides are unique and I will have to get this one cleaned somehow. I think it is gold guild copper with the image to be glass. Not sure any ideas"

my google fu is saying Nurcia = Norcia is a town/comune in Umbria, Italy and Pacis = In Peace

Where did you find this beautiful relic? I'm guessing East Coast of the United States, and relating to the wars with Great Britain. Tell us more please. This could be Banner worthy!

Yes came from South Carolina. this site made up almost all my rev war and war of 1812 collection. oldest coin was from 1679 and the latest was a 1798 Large cent. 9 of the corps artillery and a bunch of scrip buttons, A 1 A2 A3, I, RR, LA . Right beside this and almost the same hole hade a brown bess partial gun part and a small shield. I hope this helps
