Took a trip yesterday to my favorite "Seated" park in my old home town. Hunted the area pictured- a spot that I, and others, have hit too many times to count. Worked slow and dug all the iffy signals. Time after time I'd find an Indian right next to a piece of junk. One signal that hopped all over the place was a 5 coin spill at the base of the big tree- first an Indian, then the Seated dime, then 3 more Indians- simply amazing, since I know I've hit that area seemingly dozens of time.

Total take was 8 Indians- 1864, 1883, 1890, 1891, 1892, 1894, 1895 & 1907, 3 wheats- 1910, 1912, & 1918 and the 1889 Seated dime. That's the 32nd Seated coin from this park! I've been hunting this place for 18 years and it never ceases to amaze me!

Sorry for the pic quality- they didn't clean up well.

HH All,

-- Jeff --

Sounds like a really cool place. Amazing that you are finding all that there. Makes you wonder what all else is still in the ground.

Good job, Jeff! The coins are wonderful but after hunting that spot for 18 years and it still looks that beautiful! Excellent work, I must say!

Ya know, I'd just bet that there's an old coin just waiting for you. Standing completely on edge, and in-between those cobblestones. LOL

WTG!

Congrats on all the old coins, especially the seated. Must be the week for finding seated's, i have seen a number of them being posted.

Congrats! :hello2: :blob9: :hello2: Just amazing that you dug so many quality keepers from near that tree! Probably everyone detecting the park has tried it.

Looking forward to your next finds! :cat: Andi

And from here on it shall be called Seated Park. Way to go. That is simply amazing!

Would love to have a park that old here in Vegas, the oldest surviving ones only go back to the 40' - 50's. Congrats and keep up with the Seateds..
