Hey all.Snowing here and i bet we start getting the winter weather.
These pics show my favorite spot.I spent many days here.I never did
find any coins other than about 8 wheaties.But this area was very
isolated.It was so peaceful.Had a nice creek behind it and you could hear
the running water.Just thought i would share.HH wolfbite

Looks like a fun site! Might be a cache around there somewhere? Could there be an old outhouse, or what's left of one close by? HH, Mike

There was an old store close by.I found the foundation. It had lots of trees and growth around it.
I found a double edged axe there and lots of scrap metal.I may go back in the future.The owner was very
nice.I hit that place very hard.And spent many days looking all over.It also has a cellar.I told the owner i
wouldn't go in the house.But i wanted to hit that cellar in the winter.He didn't coment so i didn't push.Dang

and i found more in new sites in the first hour than i did there.I guess

Sure is a neat old looking place. I can understand why you decided to check it out.

It was my little get away spot for a great while.A nice place to think things out.
The river or creek was so pretty.There was a water mill above it i searched it out as well.

I have found a few spots like that one here in north Fl. but i guess the people who lived there didnt have much money cause like u said i have found much older coins on alot newer site?

I go to the mountains on vacation every October, but I take my camera. I love finding a spot like this with the trees blazing in their fall colors.
