I like my swingy thingy. It saved me big time after the E-trac pretty much destroyed elbow.Best investment i ever made

The Detecting Buddy works great for me and very inexpensive to boot.

For HEAVY detectors (i.e. ATX and ATPRO with an 18 inch coil) I use the Minelab PROSwing45. It is heavy duty with all kinds of adjustments with an equally heavy price. But the lesser harnesses just did to hold up my heaviest detectors. I did add a 3D printed attachment point instead of the velcro strap supplied with the vest.
