Favorite songs I was raised on

Great songs, @SD51 ! Thank you!
Although I was only 10 when Jim Croce died, I remember it. I really liked his songs and his passing was a blow.

I know I've posted this before in another thread WD, but I still think Vince Gill is one of my all time favourites.

Almost immediately, I fell in love with Sara Evans when I heard this song she covered a number of years ago.

Just to throw in a bit a variety here, The Canadian Tenors and Celine Dion covering this amazing song by Leonard Cohen make me proud to be Canadian.

Hope you and your family area doing well these days,
Dave

I like Vince Gill . But, I don’t listen to his genre often. So… I looked him up. Well, look what I found. I could use some of that hair! Lol

I don’t know that I have heard Sara Evans, unless you have played her videos. She’s got a beautiful voice.

The Canadian Tenors and Celine did a wonderful rendition of Hallelujah.

We are doing good. Dad is still running around with me. We had to put Kai to sleep a few weeks ago. We all knew it was coming. Timing stunk , though. Is there ever a good time? I hope all is well with your family, also. I would love to see a pic of Oakley!

Thank you, Gare! I don’t recall The Beach Boys 409 being played yet on this thread. I could be wrong. There’s a lot of music on here. Also, in thes pages, I posted about Journey being the first rock concert that I went to. I love Journey! ☺️

Back when we could understand what they were singing...

Looks like Al Jardine retired from touring with the Beach Boys...so many classics!
