This happened Saturday just before closing, if I wasn't out of town I'd have picked them up strait away. Ill report back when I know more.

This is the key to successful CRHing nowadays, IMHO. We can look through boxes all we want, ask for rolls at banks, check coins machines, etc., but there is no substitute for a teller who is looking out for the good stuff on your behalf. Some here have tellers who knowingly save silver for them, others (like Namster) have tellers who will call them when something interesting comes in. Well done Namster.

I have a couple banks that save all their CWRs for me (maybe just one, I found out yesterday that my vault teller is no longer at one bank). I appreciate this, but it only produces a few keepers here and there, and I never really know if the vault tellers or other tellers are still sniping the really good scores. I am not sure how people here get tellers to really, really look out for them, but if you crack that code this hobby can be really rewarding.

Plot Twist: They coins he thought were silver turned out to be Chinese Counterfiets and the ikes are not older than 1976 hence the reason why he's ashamed to take pictures.

I sold the ikes to a friend of mine who likes them. I've never been big on them. I checked them to be sure none were clad. Correction on the quarters, it was $10.50. It's funny because the halves were shorted by .50, I guess the person made up for it by over filling the quarters.

I love old dollar silver. Mmmm, I always carry around one of my dad's coins for good luck and rememberance. Congrats on the find. still would get the teller some flowers. Just tell her if was because she was so polite and nice to you. we have customers at work that buys bouquets of roses and hands them out to all the cashiers here.
