I see silver in there......nice!!!

Nice going AA, sorry about your feet getting worst, take a few days off! While you are resting try to find info on the guys behind those two dog tags! Makes for some interesting research...

Hi aa battery, nice Mercury and other finds.

Why are your days coming to an end at Hammer Field? I see you’re up North, what about the other two places near you?

In three years of MD’ing I’ve only lost one thing that I know of. It was a Washington D.C. Transit bus token designed like the one you posted in your finds. I remember correctly, this was a common transit token design back in the 60, and into the 80’s. Most likely use now days too. What kind of token is the one you found?

HH

Ant the token reads Denver Tramway Co. its one of many that i have found.I guess some of the things were thrown away.Found a X rated good luck token with the bomber groups number on it :)

Nice dog tags!!!

The problem is digger the land is leased from the city by a huge corporation that doesnt want me out there.Theres no signs but there is other unseen things out there that are dangerous. Right now the city is sueing the US Government and Boeing to clean it up So one day it will say NO TRESSPASSING.Shhh i think theres more out there. :-X

Want to have some fun hitting an Army base...try Vandenberg AFB which initally was a Army base...then became a tank training base during WWII...then became Army AB...then a SAC Base...and finally became Vandenberg AFB.

Still remnants of the original Army base Quanset huts and boardwalks in what is now the Super Block area.

Ocassionally they still find fuel bunkers in the area...most are unrecorded....some still have fuel in them.

Give those puppies a rest, treat them with some Absorbine Jr., they'll love you for it.

Thanks for sharing those finds, can't wait to read about the others.

Silver and wheat pennies in the assortment of finds......it's all GOOD !!!!!! ;D

Love the tags and the human element behind them.
