It was very deep only 4-6 inches and it sticks to a magnet. The bottom is hollow kind of like it sat in something but square anime have any idea?

Look like it fits in a square post and the top accepts the top pipe of a chain link fence. Did you find it at a school or park?

It was found at a public park/beach but I'm not sure of the history there and never found another one.. So idk

Agreed! Judging by the fancy top, it could have been a steel ornate fence instead of chainlink, but the principle is the same. Breezie
