FINALLY,a good digging tool!!!

Got out with Brokenknee yesterday,sure was a treat for me to see He has a target retrieval 'tool'
other than digging Himself called Xena. The ground is ideal for digging although we found nothing worth while,YET,need a 4x4 to get through some parts though,washout was 4 foot deep,2300 acres of open land,Xena needs to cool off before digging more.First pic is a panarama shot of those fields,enlarge it.Going back Sunday to find the GOOD stuff.

that's a watch winder (watch key)- at least 1800s - don't know how far they go back - it should have had a fine loop on the upper end - I think to attatch to pocket watch chain
