Okay, that's it... enough with the sissy girlyman detectors. (no offense ladies) I've found me a manly-man detector and I'm going after some giant-ass coins.

am I the only one that sees so many design flaws in that
it appears to be a joke to me ?

It's easier to dig up 20 miles of road than drive this over it?

Find a big Minefield you'll be out putting
it back together and replacing tires more then driving it.

You know it may be fun getting Blown up every minute or two
& Putting your vehicle back together each time.
Sort of like those toys we used to get where you crashed it
then reassembled it and do it again ;D

Plus you get the Bonus of the Headache they brag about :P

QUOTE

the entire frame complete with axle assembly separates from the cab.
Generally, the driver suffers no more than a strong headache
and that suspension assembly is quickly repaired and
reattached on site so that the Husky can return to its vital work.

Sorry my eyes are Burning from tearing up and Laughing.
Can you imagine watching these guys drive accross a field.
ever time they move Forward you hear a loud bang
& Parts go Flying.
the Driver Slams his Palm against his head again
& Says Doah ! they hop out Replace everything including tires from
the trailer then do it all over again.

Can you say "Apply Directly to the forehaed" ? ROFLMAO :D

It keeps them alive.

They go out and clear IED's which keeps other soldiers alive. If you look at the bottom of the machine it is designed to direct the blast up and away from them. Imagine... going to work knowing you might set off a large bomb underneath your butt.

I suppose a headache is a better alternative than a pine box.

Hey,
If the thing works, and saves lives it would be worth the headaches.

The guys in Irag getting blown up with IEDs sure may be more appreciative of this rig than we are.
I see they let some air out of the tires so that it doesn't set off most of the mines.

All I know is I'm not the guy with Iron Shorts that would volunteer to man the thing!

Thanks for posting this Man in Back.

Good Luck,
Mark

I would come in handy to cover a large area rather quickly. But then again, would it disregard small things like pocket change??? It is a nice rig none the less.

i think i would suggest a front mounted machine...would be better for the driver a nd cost less to repair /replace everything each time it blew..

I talked to my son today, he's stationed at Ft. Carson, Co., he's being shipped to Iraq in Feb. and that's what he will be driving

I know some folks that drive this. They tell me it is solidly built and works as advertised. Best of luck to your son, he should be fine. They have made great improvements in the equipment protecting troops over the last few years.

My son-in-law works in Iraq with the Army as a canine handler / explosives detection. He wishes he had a truck like this!

But can it locate and discriminate a pull tab or a nail?
What about canslaw?
