I've dug countless pieces of plated flatware throughout the years and yesterday I dug my first piece of Sterling Flatware. Was pretty excited.

It was about 5 inches deep... so, while digging it, I went ahead and ran the blade of my shovel down the side and also bent it. Was pissed that I finally found one of these and scraped it up while digging it out... despite the damage, it was still a cool find though.

It's an S Kirk and Son Inc piece that I found online.
