I get into the 1700's club. Found a 1762 2 Reale hunting a area that several 1800's coins have been found and a buddy found a 1721 half reale last year. Found using the AT Pro about 2 feet from a monster size tree. Not much of a signal but enough of a repeatable whisper to know that something was there. It was down about 8-9 inches.

Wow. Great detail! Congrats! You had a long wait!

WTG...That's something we all dream of finding. The oldest coin I've found so far is a 1901 IH penny, but hope to break the 1800's this year. Once you find something that good, how you going to top that? Congratulations.
