Went out this morning and after a year of countless wheats, a few indian heads , a buffalo and V nickel tons of clad finally found some silver dimes. A 1936 and 42 Merc and a 1909 Barber .Along with the dimes found some flat buttons and maybe a big belt buckle, but not sure if is or not.

Congratulations on the silver finds, good luck in 2015.

Thanks everybody!!! Ahab8 said it right I been hooked something fierce since about Oct my wife is getting sick of me talking about it. I washed that buckle and it is a plain metal with ornate swirls all in it. I thought I found another silver today at another place, turned over the plug and saw large shiny roundness, I pick it up and realize it is lighter than a coin. I went home and washed it turned out to be Ulysses S Grant Cracker Jack token. I cant get enough that's a fact.

It just gets worse and worse the older and better the finds you dig. Surprised I've still got a girlfriend lol

congrats on finally breaking the ice and how! the ice is broken so go find even more!
