Finally back to my properties sites, native american lead?

So after the couple past post have been off at parks and local lands, I finally had a nice enough (although rainy) day and the poison ivy we sprayed again (second generation of this stuff) is dead, I finally got to go back to my colonial site way back in our property not much found other then this tiny lead what could of been a seal, but it looks native american with an little animal on it, it was near the same area that I call the 'chest zone'. many good coins come from this area like the groat and the roman ones, but I got a good hit and all that poped up was this little thing, anyone got any ideas?

Are you sure its lead? Looks to be another ancient coin but not Roman, maybe Indian (Not native American), or Jewish, no idea really as its foreign to me & I only know British. Someone should ID it.

I figured lead it's the same tone and color as most lead balls I dig up. But I appreciate the input.

They were coin collectors & this is another Ancient coin, highly unlikely to be lead, just coloured that way.

Must of loved coins xD but I believe you hit it on the head with indian, I think a variation of something among these lines.

Yeap, Indian research might grab a hit, it just reminded me a bit of others I had seen. But like I say these are not my normal interest, so I hope someone else will chime in.

u found groat and roman coins in the same spot? i'd say that's a clue that its from the same collection. I don't know how many coins you found, but I'd guess they got there at a later date than colonial. A collection of ancient coins in America during colonial times would have been very rare and notable, I would think.

It could of been from another time a later one, I lived in a colonial hot spot in this area, there was a market for a natural resource here for along time, no telling how many people came through here. Not much happened after, no civil war activity that was too noted in my area, there is another late 1800's homestead about 5 acres away from where this is. my family has owned this land so no modern activity has taken place but thanks for opening my mind up to that idea!
