It’s been a while since I’ve dug anything T-Net worthy. Just got married last week after my wife(!!) and I had to move back in with her parents for a while. We’re in an area that was once settled by the Swedes in the 1650s before even William Penn and the English first arrived.

Got a Merc the other day in a wooded area near a creek. My oldest yet, 1920 P, along with 2 Wheats a 1917 and uncertain of the other.

Went back today near that spot looking for holly trees and nonnative plants, up rings a super sharp 31-32.

1917 P Type 1, my first SLQ and what a beauty!

Enjoy!

Beauty is right !! still haven't found one of these.

Stellar !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a fantastic find ! Congrats ! The condition of your SLQ is AU or better IMO. I have never seen an SLQ come out of the ground in that great shape.
I agree with Don. It would be interesting to see how the professionals grade it.

Wow ... what a fantastic looking SLQ - a big congrats on your first !
Looks like it was lost a day or two after it came from the Mint.

SLQ's are my favorite coins - like them even more than Walking Half's.

That SLQ is in the very best shape I have ever seen of a dug one. Congratulations! Thanks for sharing with us all.
